Modern House Design in Lithuania
Architektu Biuras G.Natkevičius are the architects responsible for this original design in Lithuania. "The architects preserved the architectural remains, an old yellow brick lodge with a basement, by wrapping it with an outer glass construction."

"In the basement we find a turkish bath with a rest room, a garage for two cars and a library for the ancient book collection of the owners. In the ground floor we find the living and dining room, the kitchen, a wardrobe and the children’s rooms. In the attic we find the master bedroom."

Restore Oni Figure
Now and then, a toy pops up that really blows my mind and this is one of them....an ONI demon designed by Abe Junnosuke of Restore. (The demon's face is covered by Buddhist scriptures which stops him from using his full power to kick your arse!) Abe started doing 3D sculpts of figures liek the Gremlins & Predator in 2004 and has now gotten into vinyl sculpts. His site has some wicked keychain-sized demonic/dark toys....

Plumber King of Hong Kong
Kui Wong is known as the Plumber King. He has been painting his illegal ads for his plumbing business for decades and has become the most famous living bomber, right up there with the King Of Kowloon, who sadly died in 2007. Below is a short interview with him, by CNNGo.
CNNGo: How long have you been a plumber?
Kui Wong: I’ve been doing this for half a century.
I snuck across the border from China when I was young.
There used to be a lot of factories that needed plumbing work done.
CNNGo: Why did you start painting advertisements everywhere?
Wong: In the beginning I posted my advertisements in newspaper classifieds.
Then I thought, what can I do to make more of an impact? So I made stickers.
That was really common in the past. I used to put them inside lifts,
but people don’t appreciate that anymore.
That’s when I realized I could paint on the walls in different parts of town.
CNNGo: When was that?
Wong: Oh, it was ages ago. I’ve been painting for a very long time.
CNNGo: Your ads are in all sorts of unusual places.
How do you decide where to paint them?
Wong: I drive a motorcycle all over the place.
If I see somewhere interesting, I can just pull over and paint there.
CNNGo: Do you know who the King of Kowloon is?
Wong: (Laughs) I used to see the King of Kowloon walking around
with his bucket of paint. But he’s dead now. A lot of radio advertising
people have asked me if I want to advertise on the radio, but I rejected
their offer because I don’t want to put myself out there too much.
My line of work is not very desirable. I just want to earn enough to
be comfortable. I don’t want to be famous.

Pete Eckert Blind Photographer
Pete Eckert is an incredible guy...he went from being an accomplished carpenter and artist with a bright future to becoming completely blind and needing a guide dog. This however, did not stop him from taking up photography and becoming completely hooked...
"I view my work during the event of taking the shot in my minds eye. I “see“ each shot very clearly, only I use sound, touch, and memory. I am more of a conceptual artist than a photographer. My influences come from my past memory of art and what I now find in the world at large."
"I am trying to cut a new path as a blind visual artist. Sighted people don’t help me make the art. They do give me feedback before I do the final large prints. I shoot the image, develop the film, and I do the contact print."
"I do what I call sample prints. There is a clear dividing line. I need the feedback loop to afford making large final products. I could cut sighted people completely out of my process. I could do a write up about the event of taking the photos."
"The negatives, contact sheets, and write up about the event could be the final product. I like doing the dramatic large prints better. I want sighted people involved. It is a good bridge between the blind and sighted. I want to be included in the world and accepted."

Ronnie Pirovino can lay claim to be owner of the greatest collection of Kaws art, toys and merchandise that exists on this planet. He has just moved into a new (massive) home in LA and is in the process of decorating it with most of his personal collection of Kaws....that's alot of money (well-spent?)

Buff Monster New Toy
Love the new toy, "The Destroyer" by Buff Monster. It’s inspired by one of Buff Monster’s paintings, the vinyl toy has four points of articulation and stands 14″ tall. There are only 399 editions produced.
This version was Buffmonster's web version where only 99 were produced!
