Digigrade Leg Extensions

If you've watched the Disney version of The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe you'll remember the shot of Mr. Tumnus the faun stamping the snow off his goat-like legs. I am assuming that CG special effects were used for that shot, but there is now a new way to play a satyr.
The Digigrade Leg Extensions are made of steel, cable, and foam. They allow a user “the uncanny and graceful appearance of an animal”. Side effects include adding 14 inches to the user’s height, and a temporary lack of balance. How long? According to Seattle artist Kim Graham, she says that these legs take about 10 or 15 minutes to get used to.
There are no plans to mass-market these new legs, but these specially made goat legs will cost in the neighborhood of US$775, or US$1,000 with the artificial and oversized hooves.
